Chinese investors are turning their eyes towards Dubai real estate, reports Khaleej Times (25 October 2016). As China's real estate market slows down with low interest rates, low rental yields, and low capital gains, Chinese buyers have shifted their focus onto Dubai's profitable market, which offers higher rental yields and a huge margin for capital appreciation. According to Bernie Morris, President for the UK, Europe, and the Middle East at Juwai.com, enquiries on UAE properties for the 1H 2016 rose 40 percent on Juwai.com, while Chinese search hits for Dubai properties on Juwai.com were 85.3 per cent higher over the past 12 months compared to the previous year.
