Four out of five Chinese buyers are willing to pay extra for houses with good feng shui, says Juwai.com on the Daily Telegraph (3 February 2016). With modern features and feng shui becoming vital in attracting Chinese buyers, Australian developers are now incorporating feng shui elements into their new projects. “Feng shui is another item on their list of desirables or non-negotiables” says Simon Henry, Co-Founder of Juwai.com. According to Henry, wealthy Chinese buyers from Southern China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong – the largest group of foreign Chinese buyers in Australia – place heavier importance on feng shui. “Developers are incorporating feng shui elements into their projects, whether or not they believe in it themselves,” adds Henry.
