This Shanghai property tour co-hosted with Fosun Property Group is an educational for international develpers to see how a major Chinese developer – Fosun – markets their products to Chinese buyers. Fosun is China's largest private conglomerate with businesses encompassing real estate, strategic investment, asset management, insurance, and industrial investment.

Gong Ping is Executive President at Fosun Property Holdings Limited, overseeing business and equity investment, and has been Non-Executive Director of Shanghai Zendai Property Ltd. since January 2013. With over 16 years of experience in strategy designing, investment and operations, Gong has worked at major financial institutions such as Bank of Shanghai and Standard Chartered headquarters, and served as Global Strategist at Samsung Group, leading special initiatives across financial services, technology, and real estate sectors worldwide. Gong achieved his bachelor’s in international finance from Fudan University and his master's in finance from Fudan University Global Economic Research Institute. He also received his MBA from the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Michael Cole
Founder, Mingtiandi
Michael Cole is the founder of Mingtiandi, a leading independent blog for China real estate intelligence offering daily coverage of updates on major China real estate transactions, property market developments, and China’s outbound investment trends. As one of China's best-known sources of real estate intelligence, Michael specialises in real estate finance, logistics, and Chinese outbound investment. He has provided market information and advice to the Carlyle Group, CBRE, Fosun, and Morgan Stanley. A former academic and business journalist, since 2008 Michael has put his training at research and information management to work tracking developments in China’s real estate market.
Yu Qing
Head of Overseas Sales, Greenland
As Head of Overseas Sales at Greenland, Yu Qing will share insights on Greenland’s strategy and approach to developing projects overseas. Shanghai-based and government-backed, the Greenland Group became China’s biggest property developer last year in terms of sales. Since the beginning of 2014, Greenland has invested over US$1.13 billion in projects abroad (as of July 2015). To date, Greenland has more investment presence overseas than any other China developer, with projects based in the US, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, South Korea, the UK, Japan and potentially, Russia in the near future.
