China Tallest Building

The dragon-shaped Shanghai Tower is the final skyscraper in the Lujiazui financial district's high-rise trilogy.

When completed in 2015, the 632-metre Shanghai Tower will be the second-highest in the world.

Designed by US architecture firm Gensler, the building is meant to be a vertical city.

Other super-tall skyscraper construction projects are planned or under construction throughout China, including Suzhou, Wuhan, Shenyang, Chongqing, and Changsha.
