Lucky eights drive a record sale price

Having the auspicious number eight in the address could help fetch a higher price from Chinese buyers.
This was the case with a property in Melbourne, Australia.
98 Shafer Road property, which is on 588 square metres, attracted huge Chinese interest because it featured so many number eights, according to Fletchers director, Tim Heavyside.
The property was sold A$150,000 past the reserve and at a record price for Shafer Road.
