"I had a Chinese investor walk up to me and say ‘Glenn I want you to find me a $50 million investment in Australia property."
Glenn Leet, Director of Integrity New Homes
Australia is still hot with cashed-up Chinese home buyers, and it seems that asides from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Coffs Harbour is also getting popular.
Juwai.com reported that interest in Coffs Harbour leaped 133% in August from January this year.
In fact, according to National Australia Bank research, foreign buyers have snapped up 1 in 8 new properties in Australia this year, which is up from 1 in 20 properties in 2011.
Glenn Leet, Director of Integrity New Homes, also experienced the Chinese demand first hand when he attended a property expo with Juwai.com in China recently.
