Property agents from Australia who hope to tap into the Chinese investor market will benefit from the first-ever Juwai China Agent Summit in Shanghai, according to Real Estate Business (29 January 2014). The summit will enable Australian agents to form strategic partnerships, as well as enjoy more buyer referrals, increased sales, as well as gain a better understanding of Chinese buyers. Agents would also be able to meet and connect with 100 local Chinese agents, who have been handpicked out of the Juwai database of 20,000 Chinese agents. According to Juwai.com Co-CEO, Andrew Taylor, “There are only 40 spaces at our expo, so unfortunately we won’t be able to handle everyone who wants to be there. We want to make sure those who do register in time learn a lot and have a chance to talk to Chinese agents who can be their allies on the ground."
