Chinese consumers are increasingly interested in travelling to safe, clean, and honest countries such as New Zealand and Australia, reports the Australian Financial Review (16 March 2016). One millions Chinese tourists visited Australia last year but Co-Founder Simon Henry still thinks it is a drop in the ocean compared to the 5 million visitors to Japan or 8 million to Thailand. According to Henry, the recent woes in China’s economy and stock markets have in fact, further contributed to sustaining the growth of Chinese investment in overseas real estate.
