Dubai has emerged as a new investment hotspot for Chinese buyers, reports the South China Morning Post (23 September 2015). Expats make up most of Dubai’s population, boosting the rental demand of the city and thus motivating more investors to buy properties there. A recent Juwai report revealed a 1,200% surge in Chinese buyer interest in Dubai last month from the same period last year.
