Chinese real estate demand in Thailand set a new record in the third quarter of the year with the kingdom solidifying its foothold as a holiday favourite for mainlanders. Buyer inquiries from mainland China for Thai residential real estate soared 215.4 percent year-on-year in the third quarter and were 29.7 percent higher than the previous quarter, the latest quarterly report from Juwai.com showed. "We have never seen Thai buying inquiries so high," said Juwai.com CEO Carrie Law, reports Property Report (10 October 2018).
