Malaysia is extending the movement control order (MCO) for another two weeks while loosening certain regulations, reports The Star (13 April 2020). Juwai IQI chief economist Shan Saeed said the government's decision to extend the MCO was a pragmatic approach to protect people and ensure that they will be confident when they return to work, thus brightening the economic outlook.
