Malaysia ranks as the sixth most favourite destination for Chinese property buyers in 2019, states a report by EdgeProp (14 May 2020). Malaysia has been a preferred investment choice for Chinese buyers as enquiries on residential properties increased by 40.2 per cent in 2019 compared with 2018. "It is especially appealing to buyers motivated by lifestyle, retirement or education. It (Malaysia) has affordable standards of living, high quality of life, medical facilities and accessible educational institutions," said Juwai IQI executive chairman Georg Chmiel
