Property markets around the world should expect an influx of Chinese investors in the first week of October 2013, reports Ken Rapoza at Forbes (17 September 2013).

China's National Day falls on the first of October and kicks off a weeklong public holiday, known as a "Golden Week," during which most of the country is freed from work - and many travel overseas.

There are two Golden Week holidays in China each year. Smart real estate marketers use them to build relationships with Chinese buyers they can’t meet in person during most of the year.

“Some countries will see more viewings, others will see more transactions," Juwai.com co-CEO Andrew Taylor told Forbes.
