Chinese real estate investors have added UAE as a destination to their investment map because it is the regional hub of China's Belt and Road Initiative. Chinese real estate investment in the UAE is expected to increase in 2020, reported ZAWYA (16 February 2020). Abu Dhabi set to join Dubai in attracting new buyers following the UAE capital's decision to open up freehold property ownership to foreigners. "Abu Dhabi has great potential as an exciting market for Chinese buyers. Growth in demand could be very rapid," said Juwai IQI Executive Chairman Georg Chmiel.
