Juwai.com, the leading property portal connecting Chinese homebuyers with international properties, has confirmed it would be listed on the ASX by the end of the year, reports The Australian (21 July 2016). Having raised A$10 million through a private placement of converting notes, some investors are already prepared to take a strategic stake in the company. Juwai.com CEO Charles Pittar shared, “We have several, one in particular, that are very keen with the IPO and they are going to take a significant chunk of that, like a cornerstone. It’s not just about raising the small amount of money. It’s more about really working towards the IPO. We are targeting an IPO in the next 12 months. It’s going to be towards the end of this year, or Q1 next year.” [This article is available on subscription only].
