The China Electronic Commerce Association (CECA) recognised Juwai.com for top honours two years in a row, with its selection of Juwai.com this year as the “Most Exciting International Portal to Watch”, while Red Herring selected Juwai.com for its “Top 100 Asia” award – awarded in previous years to Xiaomi, Rakuten, and Kakao.
These two awards mark another year’s milestones for Juwai. Not only do they validate the demand for overseas real estate purchasing by Chinese consumers, they also reinforce the need by the international real estate industry for tailored services and tools – which are very much unique to this market – to reach and target these Chinese buyers.
As the No. 1 Chinese international property portal in the world, Juwai.com is sharply focused on serving both Chinese consumers of overseas property as well as the real estate agents and brokers looking to reach these buyers.
“This has been an amazing year for Juwai.com, with these awards coming after significant growth in our users to 2.6 million visits per month, new partnerships with property marketers in North America, Europe and Asia, and strong year-on-year revenue and customer acquisition,” said Andrew Taylor, Co-CEO of Juwai.com.
This isn’t the first time that CECA – the Chinese e-commerce industry’s peak body – has selected Juwai.com for top honours in China’s internet space. Last year, CECA named Juwai as the “Most Influential Overseas Property Portal Award”.
The award was presented at the annual E-Commerce Industry Gateway Conference of China – China’s most authoritative e-commerce industry event, endorsed by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The Conference is also operated under government guidance, including the following official bodies: National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), General Administration of Customs (GAC), China Post, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM).
Paying tribute to the most exciting Asian technology companies and entrepreneurs, the Red Herring recently selected Juwai.com as one of its “Top 100 Asia 2015” award winners, consisting of private companies in Asia leading the charge in major technology sectors.
As a Chinese company with international DNA, as the very first company to address the blue ocean market of Chinese property buyers seeking homes overseas, and as the only property portal hosted on both sides of the Great Firewall of China, Juwai.com was selected by Red Herring editors, who evaluated hundreds of companies to identify those positioned to grow at explosive rates.
Beyond financial performance, technological innovation, management quality, strategy, and market penetration, Red Herring editors also consider the company's track record and its relative standing to peers.
“Juwai.com embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. Juwai.com should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was as strong as ever,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring.
A global media company, Red Herring unites the world’s best high technology innovators, venture investors, and business decision makers via multitude forums, including print, online, and exclusive events worldwide.
Among some of the world’s most ingenious companies first recognised by Red Herring editors include Google, Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce.com, and YouTube – influential brands and major game changers that revolutionised the world.
