Hong Kong Mid-Levels Gehry flat sets record of HK$68,000 a sq ft
At a record high price of HK$455 million, or HK$68,000 per square foot, a luxurious Opus Hong Kong apartment was sold this past month.
Though no information is known about the buyer, we do know the Opus Hong Kong apartment located on the 9th floot of the complex was built in Hong Kong's Mid-Levels East and designed by Frank Gehry.
The sale of this apartment far out did the past record price of HK$360.7 million or HK$63,999 per sq foot on a property sold in Hong Kong's Mid-Levels West just a year before.
Despite the announcement of new government policy implementations in Hong Kong that will curb property speculation, it is believed the buyer will go through with his purchase.
