A new report suggests foreign buyers are now less attracted to Toronto, reports Livabl (17 May 2019). According to Juwai.com's data, a real estate website that lets overseas Chinese buyers search international real estate listings, the number of inquiries into Toronto properties in 2018 fell 10.3 percent compared to the previous year. "With steep foreign buyer taxes and high prices in Vancouver and Toronto, we have seen an increasing number of Chinese buyers shift to other cities in Canada," Juwai CEO Carrie Law in a statement.
