China’s financial market turmoil is expected to accelerate real estate purchases by wealthy Chinese in the US and elsewhere, reports Business Insider (29 August 2015). Properties abroad are seen as a safer investment option, and the US is popular with Chinese buyers who consider it investment with relatively moderate risk yet high returns.
