We have introduced a special channel to showcase videos to help property buyers get a visual perspective of listings.

To enhance user experience and engagement with property buyers, our new video channel will allow developers, agents and industry professionals to introduce their products and services.

Juwai Video ChannelWhy Video?

Increasingly, videos have become an immensely important online tool for real estate marketing. Research has shown that the number of internet users worldwide stood at 4.57 billion as of July 2020, encompassing 59% of the global population. And more and more homebuyers are searching for properties online, which shows us how important a digital strategy is.

Covid-19 and the ensuing lockdowns and travel curbs across the world have also made videos more critical than ever. Home is not just a refuge from the pandemic, it now encompasses ‘work-from-home’ space, exercise room and entertainment corner all rolled under one roof.

If you are in the real estate business, you know how important it is for buyers to see and get a sense of what a property looks and feels like and the amenities that come with it. Hence, augmenting photos with videos in your listings will allow prospective buyers to view a property if they can’t do it in person.

In China, there are some 904 million internet users1 and their entire consumption and investment ecosystem centres on online activities. This includes searching for overseas real estate on the internet and just featuring photos may not be enough to capture prospective buyers’ attention, especially if you are targeting this segment of consumers.

Hence, Juwai’s video channel will be a great platform not only for Asian and Chinese buyers to play your content but also help you reach the right audience.

Video helpHow do videos help?

One of the biggest benefits of working with video marketing is that your content can morph into anything that can help boost sales and build brand awareness. This means you can create multiple types of videos to serve different goals and needs, as well as making sure they match your brand’s core values.

Types of videos to help your marketing strategy:

#1 Showcase a residence.

A video can highlight your listings in full, with every room, structure, and general details. This is going to be critical to your potential buyer’s decision. Virtual 360-degree walkthroughs can help accelerate home searches, with buyers winnowing down the list of potential properties faster. If you are an agent, videos can prepare homes for showing without you being present at the physical property. It can also show the property at different angles and use a first-person perspective to help your audience feel like they are there.

#2 Corporate video.

Aside from depicting your listings, videos can also focus on your business and brand. You can use videos to showcase projects or developments in the making. Agents can be featured front and centre in the videos so buyers can identify them and make a connection. Videos can include interviews with staff, former customers and homeowners to build positive testimonials.

#3 Highlight neighbourhoods.

You can increase potential buyer’s interest by showing the neighbourhoods your listings are located in. After all, knowing what is around a potential new home is just as important as what is inside. By displaying amenities, structures like schools, shopping areas, the means of transportation, and more in your video will encourage more customer engagement.
